Founder & CEO
Carleigh Stillwagon Meade founded Elite Custom Apparel in 2020. Long before the press and the embroidery machines, she was an elite-level gymnast — training with Olympic aspirations, including time at the renowned Karolyi Ranch. That world taught her a work ethic that has nothing to do with the sport: precision counts, reps matter, and the work is judged on the details.
A life-altering injury ended that chapter and redirected her toward a business degree and entrepreneurship. Inspired by her mother's experience in embroidery, she turned that discipline toward apparel decoration — building the business one order, one client at a time.
Today Elite Custom Apparel is a full-service production operation in Sayreville — screen printing, embroidery, promotional products, and design under one roof. Through every stage, the standard has held: the same discipline that shaped an athlete goes into every print and every stitch.
